Cancellation Policy
At our clinic, we understand that scheduling therapy requires commitment and time. Therefore, when you book an appointment with us, that time slot is reserved exclusively for you until you finish therapy with us. We appreciate that unforeseen circumstances may arise, leading to missed appointments. However, cancelling without prior notice can be costly and prevent other families from accessing therapy. As a result, we ask the following:
-
Private Paying Clients
-
If you inform us of any cancellation at least 24 hours in advance, no fee is charged. The full fee is charged for cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice.
-
In order for you to hold the appointment time, a minimum of 80% attendance is required during school terms. Ongoing missed appointments may result in the regular appointment time being offered to someone from our waiting list.
-
Weekly clients: If more than 2 appointments in a term are missed, the regular appointment time may be offered to another client.
-
Fortnightly clients: If more than 1 appointment in a term is missed, the regular appointment time may be offered to another client.

NDIS clients
-
The NDIS considers a cancellation “short notice” if the participant cancels the service with less than 7 clear days’ notice before the support is due to take place. All short-notice cancellations or no-shows are charged 100% of the session fee.
